Laser Treatment for Stretch Marks

Stretch marks can form due to various reasons, most commonly after childbirth, due to rapid growth in adolescents or after rapid weight gain. There are two kinds of stretch marks, either they are pink and red in color or they can be white and less pigmented than the surrounding skin. Tattoo removal can be performed with the old fashioned surgerywhere the tattoo was removed with all the involved skin, replacing the tattoo with a scar. Treatment is painless as the local anesthesia is given to put the affected area to sleep, and the treatment takes 15-30 minutes to perform depending upon the size of the tattoo. Patient can go home mmediately after the procedure and ca resume the normal actibities immediately. A series of treatments usually one month apart, are usually needed to erase most of the tattoos.
